Georgetown juniors defeated Milton to advance to the group final in a two-game set. In the first game Milton led 2-1 after the first period, but Georgetown rallied to win 5-3. The rematch featured rough play and late scoring as Georgetown won 3-2 to secure the aggregate. Sonny Stockford starred with four goals across both games.

Heater Explosion Injures Young Girl in College View
A jacket heater exploded at a home in College View injuring a nine year old girl, daughter of Mr and Mrs Loriman. The blast damaged the house contents and surrounding barns. the cause is unknown but the family was not seriously harmed.

Announcement from J E Whitelock Halton Agricultural Representative states the Milton Three Months Schools in Agriculture and Home Economics will close with a banquet at Milton town hall on Feb 25. Dr J B Reynolds principal emeritus of Ontario Agricultural College will be guest speaker. The courses opened in late November with seventy four registrants and over fifty daily attendees. A recent Cream grading competition awarded prizes donated by Gro Dawson Halton Cream and Butter Co to Helen McGibbon Edith Wrigglesworth Elmer Douglas and Howard Armstrong.

J M Dick of the Bank of Toronto is assigned to St Marys branch for three weeks then Kerwood for three weeks before returning to Milton. Harold Douglas broke a leg during hockey and is hospitalized in Guelph with favorable progress. Miss Gladys Marsh wed Feb 9 to Douglas Menzies Robertson and received a cup shower and later a large miscellaneous shower in Esquesing Township. Campbellville home of George Gullis burned last week destroying the house and garage. Halton Protective Association members and friends enjoyed a banquet at the LOOF hall last week with many attending.
