Citizens suffer from illness while doctors stay busy as winter grips the area. George Curry of Toronto and former Caledon Erin resident passes away on Thursday February 1st. Jan Corry of Brin noted as brother. Funeral held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Saturday. Thomas Robinson injured when two fingers on his left hand were badly lacerated by a circular saw in a recent accident.
Georgetown council meets with Mayor and members Dandan Long Near Ashenhurst Arnold. They read minutes, hear from Grand Trunk Railway and others, discuss taxes, water rates, and By laws on borrowing 35000 dollars, assessor appointment, tax collector, medical officer of health, and high school trustee. Mrs Robert Cole of Erin Town died on Wednesday morning January 8 after a lingering illness. The Rev Evans of Erin conducted the funeral at the house and many attended. The body was laid to rest in Providence Cemetery, Stir line Brin. We are glad to hear Mr B Kirkwood, long ill, is improving and will soon be around again.
The January report from Norval Public School lists students by merit across classes Sr IV to A Class. Notables include Bebe McMeekin Jessie Smillie Irene Evans and honors awarded to Hardy Barnhill and Betty Steward among others with teachers E V Owens and B Maxwell referenced.
Mr Cook of Toronto visited friends here over the weekend. Mrs E W Grace of Acton visited here last week. Miss Winnie Irene was home from Toronto over the weekend. Mrs Jas ONeill has been seriously ill the past week. Mr Arthur Lane was away from Toronto for a few days. A large number of people recover from colds and grippe in the neighborhood. Mr and Mrs Allen of Toronto visited friends here prior to their voyage to the Old Country.

Stephen Dolson of Third Line West Thoreday February 8th after a short illness. He lived on the farm cleared by his father William G. Dolson near Chinguaconay. A member of Mt Pleasant Presbyterian Church and the Chosen Friends, he was Liberal in politics. Survived by his widow four daughters and two sons.
Milton Mayor Irving and Town Clerk Hem highland were confined by influenza but both returned to work. George S. Bower, longtime resident, marked his 92nd birthday while bedridden yet in fair health for his age. Robert Bradley, Milton Heights shopkeeper, died last week at his home after a throat canoot illness. The deceased Mr Bradley was 68 and was the third son of the late Thomas Bradley of Idthon.
