Car Flips Into Ditch at Glen Williams. Four Escape Injury
On Wednesday night at 10 45 the driver Nancy Hunter and two passengers escaped injury when an eight car plunged into a ditch on the west side of the 6th Line at Glen Williams. The 1935 Chevrolet rolled onto its roof after cresting a hump near the Glen bridge. Constable Doug Ormsby of the North Halton OPP led the investigation. car damage was about 250 dollars.

Locals Race on Ice Win Orillia Trophies
Two Georgetown drivers Ai MacCormack and Al Ingles competed in the Twin Lakes Trophy Races on Lake Simcoe at Orillia on Sunday. Till won two trophies in touring car classes while Al clinched heat and feature wins in his class. The course ran about a mile and a quarter on glare ice carved by a bulldozer on 20 inch thick ice. The event was the second of four meets this winter with Kingston Huntsville and Peterborough hosting the others.
