Girls' Pipe Band Repeat Performance A Success
The Georgetown Girls' Pipe Band presented a Repeat Performance on Monday night with a well attended program. G W McLintock served as master of ceremonies as Bill MacDonald and His Rhythm Rubes drew strong applause. Grace Beerman and Eleanor Smith delivered songs and dance while the band offered several fine numbers.

Lansy Jane Atter widow of Frank E. Finlay died January 28 1944 at General Hospital St Catharines after a long illness. She came to St Catharines as a girl from the United States and married Frank E. Finlay in 1902. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery Georgetown after services at Butler and Son Funeral Home conducted by Rev R C Todd United Church. Several out of town mourners attended.
