Ontario leads provinces in motor vehicle revenue share. In 1936 gasoline tax and registration fees totaled 26,924,028 dollars, about 41 percent of provincial revenue of 85,726,985. Quebec 31.6 percent, Prince Edward Island 1.84 percent. Commercial vehicles paid about 26 percent of total motor taxes. 76,015 commercial vehicles taxed on 76,015,000 gallons at six cents each.

Fatally Injured By Angry Bull In Ontario Farm
Horace Bingham of the 10th Line in Barrie township was fatally injured Monday morning when an Ayrshire bull attacked him while watering cattle in his stable. An employee helped, and Dr. Paul attended but Bingham died from internal injuries. Survived by a widow Emma J. Pair and several children and siblings, the community offers sympathy.

Knox Presbyterian Church held its annual business meeting in the Sunday school room showing goodwill and optimism. The year’s funds totaled 2496.06 for general purposes and 731.30 for Mission. Board of Managers elected J. Williamson W. T. Sinclair H. Currie H. McClure T. Anderson and J. Kennedy. a social hour followed after ten refreshments. Ed. McWhirter chaired the meeting.
