Harold Gimer, GVAS chief, told Georgetown council that ambulance requests from provincial police to transport accident victims on Highway 401 drain resources. He urged closer location dispatch and authority to answer in town, noting life and death urgency and that GVAS never refuses a call. Dr. Morrison suggested such calls could support a better access road to the new highway. Dr. Emmart commented on the compliment to GVAS as Georgetown’s fastest responder.

Halton's MP says plans and drawings for a new Georgetown post office are ready and tenders will be called once start date is set. Accidents Hospitalize Two District Residents
