Georgetown Juniors Triumph 9-6 Over Brampton in Opener
Georgetown juniors opened the season with a 9 to 6 win over Brampton. Ward led scorers with multiple goals while Richardson added two. Cossey and Crichton also contributed. Brampton’s Anthony, Soloski and Thomson replied, as former Georgetown players Weller and Anthony watched from the Brampton lineup.

Fatally Wounded Worker Kellington Dies in Guelph Hospital
Howard Kellington a 21 year old of Rockwood died at Guelph General Hospital after being fatally wounded while rabbit hunting in the bush near Eramosa township. He was found by his brother in law Edwin Watson and Charles Snakes. The inquest into the death has not yet been decided but is considered probable. The Kellington family expresses heartfelt sympathy to Mr and Mrs Kellington and relatives.
