A reflection on the Christmas season emphasizing love over hate, service to neighbors, easing burdens, supporting good causes, and the moral rewards of generosity. It urges acts of kindness as sacraments, renewed by inner power guiding righteousness and selfless giving.
The High School Concert and Commencement last week featured home talent and impressed with vocal and instrumental performances. Students received certificates and diplomas for Junior graduation, Honor Matriculation, Normal Entrance, Matriculation, and Lower School levels, with acknowledgments to the Board and teachers.
Ben Hosking received the Strathcona County Medal for Shooting. At the program’s end the lady teachers of the School and Mrs. Rose the accompanist were each presented with handsome bouquets by the pupils.
The report lists senior and junior classes with maximums and names of top scorers or attendees. Notable entries include Edna sing 488 Francis Thompson 892 Dick Standish 876, Sarah Standisk Irene Wrigglesworth 309 and Jim Corner 148. Several students are marked absent including Willie Mackie and Davy Bryden.

J F Robertson wins first prize and championship for Dorset Horn Sheep at Guelph Winter Fair and first prize for Dorset Horn carcass. Acton Women's Institute meeting adopts a resolution. A A Worden and Miss Magrie Worden attend the funeral of the late George W Worden at Erin Free Presa.
A fragmented 1921 notice describes Xmas Seals for a charity event titled Muakoke Fest with proceeds aiding Doody patients. The text references schoolchildren, sellers, and a sale location at College Street, Chariton, with donors contributing one dollar each.
A fragment recalling carols drowned by cannon fire as bells ring out amid a continent torn by conflict. It imagines God’s vigil and the triumph of right over wrong with a pledge of peace on earth and goodwill to men.
The County Court heard MaacAe Symon vs. Laidg Thie after a collision on Main Street opposite the Hotel McGibbon. Plaintiff Charlea Symon of Acton and Gordon Laing of Toronto were fined. the suit claimed damages. Witnesses included Mrs. Frank Bescoby and Laura Chisholm among others. judgment reserved.
Terra Cotta U F W O Club held its annual meeting on December 7 at Mr and Mrs Mixs home. New officers were elected: President T Anderson Vice President Mrs F Thompson Secretary Treasurer Mrs Bert Taylor. A delegate to the U F W C convention in Toronto was chosen and a program committee was named for yearly planning.
The Limboure school children present The Crowning of Christmas cantata at the Christmas Tree gathering in Community Hall Limehouse on December 22. R J Fleming attends with Iaptern alides. Also notes fur repair services and a sale on a 20 volume children's book set priced at 45 from Jackson.
