A notice from Attorney General staff states on November 25 Hillmer will become registrar of deeds for the registry division. He plans to reside in Oakville or move to Milton and will not rush his decision. Hillmer, long in municipal and parliamentary service, led Oakville council 28 years, county council 10, mayor 1911-12, deputy-reeve 1914, reeve 1919, later serving in the legislature for two terms. Friends extend congratulations.
