Stratford receives its first Alberta coal shipment from Drumheller at seven dollars per ton freight to Western Ontario via Canadian National lines. It will sell at fourteen dollars a ton in one ton lots. Henry Ford and printing industry concerns are criticized for rising costs and monopoly pressure. The Canadian National Exhibition in Ottawa is highlighted with a Government Building exhibit showing Ontario wildlife including beaver dams and deer moose sightings.
