Canada to Expand National Defence Forces in Major Reforms
Ottawa reports a thorough reorganization of Canada's military with three service boards for army navy and air force. A buffet supper followed games and gift presentations included an electric reading lamp and a smoking stand.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ramesbottom Hamilton were conducted at her residence with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Guelph. The Erin township native, in her 92nd year, was daughter of pioneer settlers and a Gospel Tabernacle member. Survived by brothers James Ramesbottom Maple and Allan Ramesbottom Collingwood and sister Mrs K Morris Swains New York.
