By the end of September steel framework rising on Todd Road will house Rolling Specialties, said president John Simonyi. The 25,000 square foot building on a 7.5 acre site will employ forty people in the metal forming machinery plant. The plant sits across Todd Road from Economy Forms.

Ray Howson Named First Manager of Georgetown’s New TD Bank
Ray Howson will become the first manager of Georgetown’s fourth bank, a Toronto-Dominion branch opening this fall in the Sidmac building on Main Street beside the Main Building. Howson, transferred from Millbrook, has moved with his wife and three children to 57 Stevens Crescent and is currently relieving at Waterford until the branch opens. The Sidmac Realty Co building occupies the site of the former White Rose service station, and the Howsons are long-time Clarksburg natives and United Church members.

Deputy Reeve Jim Young noted Wilson did appear and was allowed to defend himself and that the matter is closed for the committee.

Escaped County Jail Escapee Receives 10 Year Sentence
Paul Roman Beaulieu, 26, of Caribou Maine, who escaped from Halton County Jail this spring, has been sentenced to ten years in a Washington State court. Crown Attorney Peter K. McWilliams told Magistrate's court last week Beaulieu faced multiple offenses below the border.
