Henry Ford announces new automobile plant in South Boston to build the $260 car employing about 15 000 workers.

The inaugural Canadian National Holstein sale by the Canadian National Holstein Club and Ontario Agriculture Department at Exhibition Grounds Toronto drew a national record. Colonel B Black paid 8850 for a five year old bull King Segis Pontiae Posch from Gordon Gooderham Clarkson consignor. The buy went to the Military Hospital Farm at Guelph.
