Minutes of 1925 adopted, tribute paid to injured players and Dr C V Williams. Treasurer reported receipts 128 40 expenditures 95 81 surplus 32 69. Officers appointed for 1926 including President E Rigby Vice President H Redshaw and secretary A Robinson.
Miss Ida Clarke of Nanaimo B C has worked among B C Indians as a missionary for 35 years with notable success. Two Toronto auditors have worked in the treasurer’s office since Tuesday morning and may present their report to county council at its meeting on the 20th inst. Rev W T Cranston preached his farewell at St Paul’s Presbyterian Nelson and received a purse. the Sunday School presented Miss Cranston a lamp. Tinkler Bros left their draft team at Milton Heights store, the team ran away with a wagon and two horses were killed.

A large turnout attended the Halton County Women’s Institute tors meeting in Milton. Plans were set for the district annual meeting in Burlington on June 1. At the close, Mrs. W. Merry was given a silver dish and meat fork by district branches. Mrs. Atkinson of Palermo read the address and Mrs. Claridge of Acton made the presentation.
