Mrs R A Hartley widow of R A Hartley a longtime Brampton Enland Revenue Officer and former farmer died at her Toronto home aged 84 years thirty years after her husband. Born in Peel County she was the daughter of Thomas Young a U E Loyalist and farmed near Alloa. She moved to Toronto thirty years ago to live with her son and daughter. Surviving are four sons J M Bartley W S and T D of Toronto David S Hartley of Sault Ste Marie and three daughters Miss Jennie Hartley Mrs J C Atkinson of Toronto and Mrs Samuel Dolan of Norval. Three sons Will Dave and Pete were noted lacrosse players.
