One Uniform For Health Nurses Halton Board Sets Uniform
Warden George Currie urged one year round nursing uniform for Halton health unit staff. Doctors discussed whether two outfits were needed for summer and winter. The board agreed to a single outfit including skirt jacket hat and all weather coat as required by the forthcoming contract.

Sunrise Easter Service Draws Ninety Youths At St John’s
St John’s United Church along with YPS hosted about ninety young people for the annual Easter sunrise service. They gathered at 445 a.m. at St John’s then were transported to the Gordon Kidney farm at Silvercreek where Dr Kenneth McCauley of Georgetown addressed them. Afterward about ninety returned to the church for breakfast with a sing song led by Rev Kelvin Johnston of St Andrew’s United Church.
