Thomas Catton a long time Chinguacousy farmer died in a early morning fire that destroyed his frame home on the third line. He lived alone after his housekeeper left and neighbors believe the blaze started from an overheated stove. Catton, about seventy, survived by two brothers and two sisters and was a member of Mount Pleasant United Church.
