Mrs James Norton Dies at Glen Williams Home
Following a brief illness Mrs James Norton died at her Glen Williams home on April 1 195 S age 58. Archdeacon W G O Thompson conducted the funeral at McClure Funeral Home with pallbearers Tom HM Irvine Hill William Hewitt Dick Everson Glyn Everson and Arthur Norton. Interment was in Glen Williams Cemetery. Mrs Norton formerly Sarah Hewitt was born in Conishs Quay Wales in 1891 and came to Canada as a girl. She married James Norton who died 32 years ago. She worked at Beaumont Knitting Mills and later at Smith and Stone Ltd. She belonged to St Albans Church of England and leaves three children Mary Robson of Guelph Grover Norton of Georgetown Mildred Kemshead of Glen Williams, plus a sister Mrs William Hadley in Glen Williams and nine grandchildren.

Glen Williams Resident Mrs. Robert Armstrong Dies
Mrs. Robert Armstrong dies Easter Friday at her son Ernest Forgrave’s home in Glen Williams in her 80th year. Born in Orkney Islands, she lived in Toronto and New York City before settling in Glen Williams. She leaves husband Robert Armstrong and children William Forgrave Marion Ernest Forgrave and four grandchildren. Funeral held at McClure Funeral Home with interment in Glen Williams Cemetery. Pallbearers named.
