At Ashgrove United Church W M S meeting on Tuesday April 1 in the basement a large crowd enjoyed an program. Mrs Jas Barnes led the service. Mrs Nell conducted devotions. three heralds reported on Chinese missions. Mrs Dales of Milton spoke on Visions. Lunch followed. The Young People's League met Sunday evening with prayers hymns talks and solos.
Friday evening in April marked the first Friday social night at St John’s A Y P A. Rev. Boyd led prayers and spoke on Old Testament kings, followed by readings, a piano solo, vocal performances, and lively violin and banjo duets. A lunch and community singing capped the event with high attendance and warm reception.
