Hooey predeceased her in 1923, also one son Orville, who pie-deceased her in 1936. Mrs, Hooey is survived by two sons, Harold and Lawrence, both, of Orono, also two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Henderson, Orono and Mrs, Loftus Bellamy, New- j castle. Also five grandchildren and three great grandchildren survive,The funeral was held from Orono United Church on Monday, November 15, 1954 which was largely attended by relatives and friends. Many beautiful floral tributes were received. Rev. John Kitchen, officiated and Mrs. Drummond rendered an appropriate solo accompanied by Mrs. Workman.The pall bearers were six nephews, Messrs. Kenneth Henderson, Everett j Bellamy, Lawrence Wannan, William j Wannan, John (Stone and Russell Allen. Interment was made in Orono Cemetery.
