Joseph Edouard PerrauU, former Quetxc attorney-general and Liberal member of the legislature for 22 consecutive years, died lost night, He wm 7i.Appointed minister of mines, colonization and fisheries in 1919, Mr. Perrault was a member of successive Liberal cabinets until 1936. After a reshuffling of portfolios in 1929, he became minister of roads and mines.In March, 1936, he was named attorney-general. He resigned three months later along with his chief, L. A. Tachereau, nnd several other ministers.They were Just In time to watch 39 years of Liberal dominance tumble as Hon.
