Numurkah Saleyards Plan Divides Numurkah Shire Council
At the Numarkah Shire Council meeting seven of ten councillors supported establishing municipal saleyards at Numurkah with Nathalia as the alternative. Some members warned against the timing, others urged pairing yards in both towns or none, citing neighboring Kyabram as a proven model.
