Tenders Open For Shire Works In Nathalia District

Tenders addressed to the President Shire Hall Numurkah will be received until 2 p.m. on Monday July 8 1929 for works forming and scraping up Grimiths road between Narioka and Barwo parishes and north from Nathalia North road. Plans may be inspected at the office Nathalia from July 3 until July 6 and Shire Hall Numurkah on Saturdays 9 a.m. to 12 noon. A cash deposit or bank cheque of 3% accompanies each tender. minimum deposit £1. The lowest tender not necessarily accepted. A Stringer Shire Secretary. Afternoon tea at football match next Saturday. Donations of cakes and eatables requested by football club.

Voters Lists Open for Inspection in Numurrah Shire 1929-30

Under Local Government Act 1915 section 83 the Numurrah Shire notifies that Voters and Separate Voters Lists for 1929-30 are compiled and open for inspection without fee at Shire Offices Numurrah from July 8 to July 15. Copies may be viewed at Strath Herald Office Central Riding Barmah Bar and Ketapan Post Offices. Objections or insertions must be sent by July 15 1929 with statutory declarations. The Nathalia Herald office and Shire Offices provide necessary forms.
