Archibald Colyer, Brisbane pianist, and his mother Mrs Thirza Colyer, will present a piano recital in Numurkah Presbyterian Hall on Thursday next in December. The program features Beethoven Waldstein, Chopin, Liszt Liebestraum, Weber Invitation to the Waltz, Lavallee The Butterfly, Mendelssohn A Bees Wedding, plus Holding Receipt and a short lectureette. The artist has toured Queensland and New South Wales to strong audience praise for his technique and entertaining sketches. A reception of over 230 fans has accompanied his Australian tour and critics note the developing skill and refined performance. The concert will be followed by humorous sketches and incident notes from the tour.
