Annual meeting of Numurkah Agricultural and Pastoral Association
About forty members attended the annual meeting held Tuesday afternoon with President W H Hodge presiding. The executive reported twenty three members present and approved scheduling ideas to avoid Royal Society show date clashes, plus arrangements for a concert and queen crowning on June 5 with a committee led by G Fowler. Boxing solo rights were discussed after Harry Johns offered five pounds. the amount was deemed too small and referred to the new executive.

Jubilee show finances show strong member support and shift
The annual meeting drew larger attendance and strong interest. The audited balance sheet showed donations from City and District, gate receipts, and sales helping a sound position. President Hodge noted weather affected profit and praised the ladies for their work, while plans for the jubilee show and back to movement energized members.

Community Society Elects Officers and Sees Growth
The group applauded Mr Hodge for leading the Back movement and thanked him for his year’s work. Mr W Prentice was elected vice president, Mr Moss as junior vice president, and Mr J E Harper re elected treasurer. A large slate of divisional executives was nominated, with life member tickets debated for next meeting as May 23 ballot results loom. A service car route update announced for March 8 through Numurkah to Seymour, fare 10/6.
