Numurkah District Society Executive Meeting Highlights
The Shire Hall hosted the executive and annual meeting with the retiring chair in place. The pool wheat payments were delayed due to the Commonwealth Bank funding the overdraft, with overseas remittance expected by March end and August as a further payment target. The Better Farming Train visit was praised, a judging arrangement was discussed for fallows, and the upcoming Numurkah and Cobram shows were scheduled with balance sheets and prize details presented.
