Northam Agricultural Show Highlights and Winners
The Northam Agricultural Society show drew strong interest over two days. Dairy, bacon and poultry displays impressed judges with Avon Butler Bacon Co and Messrs Clark and Phillips cited for excellence. Prizes covered butter, bacon sides, wheat, oats, wines, vegetables, citrus, dairy cattle, horses and pigs with notable names including W Padbury judge and exhibitors Wilding, Klopper, Hooper and Cottons. A strong wind and rain reduced attendance on the second day.
