Inquest Adjourned Over Death at Goomalling Scene
The adjourned inquest into the death of Mrs Hobart Towle near the Kurtanadgyn and Wodsomuny on July 17, 1932, began with coroner Jb Hoywl presiding. Evidence described a cart overturning and a man named Robert Bowles rescuing the body, with Dr. Cooke later declaring the death by suffocation and shock. The jury returned findings that the cart load caused the fatality on the road near Chester’s residence, during a social event in Goomalling, with details of the night’s proceedings and local notices.
