The Northam Race Club outlines a Red Triangle Meeting for July 31 with First Second and Third Class Plates across multiple distances five to six furlongs. It lists nominations and acceptance fees, handicap weights, and conditions including open races for non metropolitan horses and amateur rider rules.
The notice outlines by laws under the W A Teteb rules for Northam Race Club. Weights to be erased then declared midweek with nominations due to the secretary by July 29 1918. Acceptance and entries close with the secretary and horses not scratched will race. The committee may refuse or modify nominations and only registered bookmakers are allowed to enter.
Thursday September 26 1918 programme features First Second and Third Class Plates with three races at distances of five and a half to seven furlongs. Open to horses within regional limits with weights and handicaps as listed. nominations and acceptances detailed for each plate and the Farewell Handicap.
Under WA Turf Club rules and Northam Race Club by laws nominations close with the club secretary or appointee on September 14 1918. Weights to be declared around September 18 with final acceptances due by Monday September unknown year. Scratched horses considered . nominators liable for balance. Committee may refuse any nomination without reason. Bookmakers limited to five and three guineas fees.
