Steamer for the Cameroons Mission and Jubilee Singers Visit
A Glasgow built steamboat named after Mrs. Saker is donated with purpose to aid Alfred Saker’s Cameroons mission, to be taken free by the Gambia African Steamship Company. The Jubilee Singers entertained visitors at Carisbrooke Castle and the Binney Memorial Schools funding drive proceeds supported new local schools. The piece also previews church policy changes and notes on notable figures including Rev. Charles Finney and Commodore Goodenough.
