Mr. Murray announces a volume by Nasmyth and Carpenter on The Moon as a Planet World and Satellite, and a new edition of Phillips on The Geology of Yorkshire. The Palestine tomb of Joshua son of Nun, found by M Guerin at Tigadé, reveals a vestibule with daylight access and 15 coffin niches, suggesting Joshua’s burial with flint knives associated to Gilgal and Jordan crossings.
