Finsbury School Board Election Sparks Clergy Rivalry
The London School Board race in Finsbury division tightens with four candidates still active for the seat. Support splits along church lines with Rev Mark Wilks drawing backing from many Nonconformists and clergy across the borough. A large Denmark Street School turnout followed a Wilks address, while backers push for his return on the 29th amid prominent figures backing him.
