Missionaries urged to focus on preaching over schooling in India
A Jamaica Jamaica conference adapts with calls to shift educational work to local societies. It cites 488 foreign missions in India, only a third teaching in native tongues, and urges sending five new missionaries to India while expanding native channels. Morant Bay and other Jamaican stations show growing church strength and requests for funds to rebuild after disasters.

Speakers included Rev. Dr. McAuslane, S. D. Waddy, Rev. B. Millard from Jamaica, H. M. Bompas, and Cooke Baines. Bompas urged young men to give at least one tenth of income to Christ’s work.
