Prize Day At Mill Hill School Celebrates Achievements
The following day the health of visitors and leaders was toasted, then prizes were distributed in the chapel. Dr Weymouth testified to the boys' honesty and conduct as 30 seniors passed Cambridge local exams, a record second only to five larger English schools. Prizes included medals, books, instruments, and scholarships awarded to Gurney, Field, Weymouth, Marston, and many others with detailed categories across senior and junior forms. Mr Barnes and Mr Baines addressed the students before tea, drawings, organ solos, and outdoor games closed the day.

The Mysteries of Christianity Baird Lecture Review 1874
A critical notice on T I Crawford’s The Mysteries of Christianity, second Baird Lecture series. The reviewer argues no impartiality possible in religious disputation, notes the Westminster Confession’s rigidity, and finds Crawford clear but repetitive. It concedes some illuminating passages while doubting overall force against scepticism.
