In San Giovanni del Dosso parishioners elected Don Lonardi by a 207 to 47 vote after the archbishop appointed Don Anselmo Prati. The civil court upheld Lonardi, confirming his position and declaring canon law nonbinding, while ruling parochial property belongs to the commune.
