Binney Speech on Bible Teaching in State Schools
A review of Mr. Binney’s reprinted speech on the British and Foreign School Society’s stance in Bible teaching within public schools. The piece analyzes his fairness toward opponents, the secular and denominational objections to state funding, and the proposed role of Bible readings as moral culture rather than dogmatic instruction.
