A. Jackson left yesterday for Kamloops while Thos Hunter of Nicola visited Merritt on Tuesday. The work train returns to dump rock and gravel along the track. B P Little of Diamond Vale Co. has returned from Vancouver. Jos Collett spent a week in Merritt and is erecting a cottage on the Collett ranch. J C Conklin plans a livery barn on Nicola Avenue near Cleasby street. J Q Leonard has handed his business to A Stephen who has since gone to the coast. A W Grote and Thos Williams visited Merritt. Robt Gardner received three months in Kamloops jail. Winds last week cleared much snow and disrupted hillside snow. Fred A Richardson, J H Foster, Colin Brown and Howard Wright, commercial travellers, arrived in Merritt Monday and left for Nicola the next morning.
