Dr. Fagan announced a 400 acre Fish Lake allotment from the Dominion government to aid a BC tuberculous sanitarium. The site near Kamloops Lake, at altitude 4200 feet, will serve incipient consumptives while nearby lower sites may host buildings. If finances allow, small houses or tents will be erected and construction could begin in spring with a fall completion planned. An excursion to Kamloops Lake will be arranged for business leaders and others once occupancy is possible.

Death of Mrs Hyatt in Nicola at 79
Mrs James Hyatt mother of Mrs Riley died in Nicola on Wednesday evening February 20 after a weeks long illness at age 79 years 8 months. A native of Tyrone Ireland she emigrated to Ontario in 1846 and moved to Nicola from Grey County to live with her daughter. Interment is tomorrow at Lower Nicola funeral will leave Nicola at 10 am after service at Mrs W Riley’s residence with church service at Lower Nicola Methodist church at 1 30 pm.
