Death of John Wilson pioneer of Nicola Valley
John Wilson known as Old Jack died at Lower Nicola on Sunday evening. A pioneer of the Nicola Valley he freighting on the Cariboo road and endured rough times on the Fraser river. He was seventy four, unmarried, and remembered for honesty and genial companionship. The funeral was held at Lower Nicola Tuesday afternoon with Rev. D. K. Allan and Rev. Mr. Wright officiating. A large turnout paid respects to the old friend.
