Suit Against Boni and Castellane Heads to Calendar

In Albany on March 24 a motion was made in the Court of Appeals to advance the appeal in the case brought by Anton J. Dittmade against Count Boni and Countess de Castellane and trustees George J. Gould Edwin Gould Howard Gould and Helen Gould. The plaintiff seeks 375000 as a creditor who did not join a U S Supreme Court litigation over a 2 million dollar claims pool to be paid pro rata to 107 creditors to preserve income for the Castellanes. The plaintiff filed an action in State court to recover the full amount at once.

Czolgosz Plot Suspect Alleges Anarchist Ties

Jacob Steinman, taken to Waupon on Saturday, told Sheriff Stackhouse he is an anarchist and attended a lodge meeting where Czolgosz was chosen to assassinate President McKinley. He claimed a well known woman was a principal instigator and tied the handkerchief over Czolgosz's hand before the murder. The report also notes the drowning of Detroit Conservatory director J. H.
