Snowslide Buries Mine Cabins At Seven Thirty Mine
A February snowslide at Silverplume Colorado swept away buildings of the Seven Thirty mine and several miner cabins. Four men were buried. two were rescued alive, two others Ben Nelson and John Anderson are missing and presumed dead. Rescuers Peter Olson and David Fitzpatrick survived. The slide crossed the Seven Thirty mine and partly reached the Dunderberg area.
