Water shutoff halts smelter at Northport plant

Washington December 13 A jury returned a not guilty verdict in the trial of Ida Bonine accused of murdering James Seymour Ayres Jr a young census office clerk. The jury deliberated for about four hours before delivering the verdict.

Isaac Edwards of King Bros tannery was missing this morning. His body was found in boiling water in the upper story far from his workplace after a search through the building in Whitby Ontario.
