The Prince of Wales arrived at Dover this morning returning from Copenhagen. Enthusiastic crowds greeted him as thousands gathered at Charing Cross station in London to witness the spontaneous demonstration marking his return.
Berlin April 20 Capt Reitzens tein of the German army who went to South Africa to prepare a report for Emperor William will upon returning to Berlin write a military technical work incorporating his official reports and a critical estimate of General Joubert which is understood to be rather unfavorable He is spending the remainder of his leave in Italy and is expected there on May 5.
Miss Marie Binse of New York leaped from the Brooklyn Bridge at 2 PM and survived. She is hospitalized at Hudson Street Hospital. Reports note several men have made the leap since completion, with most perishing, and she is the first woman known to attempt to end her life in this way.
The Daily Mail reports an arrangement near completion allowing Viscount Hinton of Poulette to become the Earl of Poulette. The younger son by Karl's third wife relinquishes his claim in exchange for an annuity from the estate.
