Habitat for Humanity begins first Neepawa project ceremony
Habitat for Humanity celebrates the start of its inaugural Neepawa home project with a May 26 ground breaking ceremony. Rachel Quezon, the first partner, and Habitat board members joined volunteers as a 970 square foot two bedroom house takes shape near the former East View Lodge site. Neepawa Steering Committee Chair John Lavich led the event and thanked donors, contractors, and volunteers for their support, noting many hands make things light.
