Neepawa runners win national track gold at U Sports
Lara Denbow and Daxx Turner, both Neepawa natives with the University of Manitoba track team, won high jump and triple jump gold at the U Sports Championships in Winnipeg March 8 to 10. Denbow cleared 1.78 metres on her final attempt. Turner leapt 15.82 feet to lead from start to finish. Ben Perrett earned bronze with the University of New Brunswick 4 x 800 relay.
