Neepawa to gain new hospital under big rural health investment
Manitoba will spend at least 127 million on a new hospital in Neepawa doubling beds from 35 to about 60 and making the facility roughly twice as large. Premier Stefanson attended with Health Minister Audrey Gordon and others including MLA Eileen Clarke and Prairie Mountain Health CEO Brian Schoonbaert. The province also plans a 5 million renovation of Dauphin Regional Health Centre to boost inpatient capacity as part of an 812 million health care upgrade.
