Magnates Visit Nakusp and Slocan Railway Inspection

W C Van Horne president of the CPR and party inspected the Nakusp and Slocan Railway at Nakusp aboard the caboose, touring the line for fifty minutes before returning to Revelstoke. He forecast prosperity along the line once ore exports begin and the company’s $500,000 capital stock would handle Kootenay properties, chiefly around Ainsworth.

Injunction Rumor Over Wilson Creek Property Denied

R B Green of Kaslo states no injunction was issued against Wilson Creek, now Roseberry, after rumors from New Denver. He says he did not buy Denver lots and confirms the property is in order. The Denver editor refused related material, leading to its appearance in The Ledge.

World Man on the Wing Tours Nakusp Area on Campaign

J. T. Wilkinson aboard Tuesday’s Robson boat on a semi-regular canvass through the district. J. M. Kellie predicts Nakusp will become a lively mining center amid abundant descriptions in circulation. Tenders are sought by Post Office Inspector Fletcher to carry mails semi weekly to and from New Denver and Nakusp with departures on Tuesdays and Fridays and returns on Mondays and Thursdays.
