Creditors of the Right Hon. the Earl of Belfast are desired to send an account of their debts to Merkrs. Jacksons in Mark Lane for payment arrangements. Those holding securities affecting his lordship are asked to notify the nature and particulars of such securities, present or future.
Groom in London deposits a black and a bay gelding at Whaley’s stables but Whaley has not paid for keep. He is informed that if the account is not settled by Friday the 27th, the bay gelding will be removed and sold at public auction through Messrs Tast ersalls to defray keep costs.
Cautions of peculiar importance in the spring propose the genuine Syrup of De Velnos as a remedy for diseased lymph and related afflictions. Proprietor Swainson warns against impostors and spurious preparations, listing authorized sellers in London, Cambridge, Oxford, Dublin, Edinburgh, Paris, and Madrid.
An 1792 notice extols Dr Steer's Opodeldoc for bites, wounds, and rheumatism seen aboard the Calypso from Bulam. It warns of counterfeits using Newbery or Steers names and instructs buyers to seek genuine stamps bearing F. Newbery and purchase from Newbery at St Paul’s Churchyard or Steer’s Old Bond Street shop.
ENGLISH and TRISH STATE LOTTERIES 1393 inform the public that the Trish Lottery draws on November 12 and the English Lottery on February 17, 1794. Tickets and shares are on sale at No. 104 Bank Buildings Cornhill and No. 8 opposite the King's Mews Charing-cross. Present English prices include Half-guinea, Fourth-, Eighth-, and Sixteenth- shares.
A Grass Farm sought within 16 to 15 miles of London offering about 150 acres and a house for a small family. Any person having such property to let or dispose of may contact No 40 New Ty street Blackfriars Road.
A long advertisement extols a restorative medicine sold at 1s 6d a bottle and promoted for broad health benefits across ages and sexes. It promises improved digestion, renewed vigor, and extended vitality, with charitable offers to provide free bottles to the needy, and Baco n's certificate required for authenticity.
A dated legal notice lists bankrupts including George Buraston of Tottenham Court Road Middlesex and Daniel Smith of Thatcham Berkshire with surrender dates in September and October. Also named are Edward Prichard of Salop and others, plus a series of dividends to various creditors in October and November and certificates for several individuals including John Hughes George Owen John Rhodes and James Watton.
