A list of imported fruits, nuts, spices, and wines offered in bulk and small boxes at Presley’s Warehouse, Henrietta Street, Covent Garden. Items include Muscat grapes, almonds, currants, raisins for wine, Madeira and Port, French brandy, green citron, peaches, cherries, pistachios, cloves, nutmegs, ginger, limes, tamarinds, pickles, coffee, and other foreign goods in varied packaging. Nobility and gentry urged to apply at the warehouse.
An article extols Mr Sampson Perry's Adams's Solvent as a remedy for calculous and gravelly bladder issues, promising conversion of stones to native earth and gradual relief. It advertises the Royal Patent Medicine Warehouse at 150 Oxford Street, London, with price 5s 5d to 11s 6d and a certificate by William Bacon offering a reward for forgery. Subscriptions are taken at city banks and Lloyd's Coffee House bar.
