Parliament Fixes February Dates for Zeven Peerage and Roos Peerage
In the Lords, the Duke of Norfolk named February for first readings of the Zeven Peerage bill and for the Roos Peerage bill, with Walsingham moving the Roos measure to the third Tuesday of the month. The Duke signaled intent to address Parochial Clergy arrests and protect clergymen from arrest in coming sessions. The House adjourned to Monday.
